Video review of the Sparkle Power 900W power Supply

ZDNet: March 2008 (FSP055-50LM)

It’s so small that it doesn’t even bother with a fan or metal casing; you have to a system-level fan yourself and provide the bracing and shielding in your computer chassis. The really nice thing about this solution is that the entire power supply including the AC conversion part is not much bigger than a DC power supply but you don’t need an external brick.

silentpcreview: March 2008 (SPI250EP)

The Sparkle Power SPI250EP is the lowest capacity 80 Plus approved ATX form factor power supply we've tested thus far. Our sample meets the 80 Plus requirements, and it is 80% efficient even down to a low 50W load, which is better than most other PSUs.

silentpcreview: November 2007 (SPI220LE)

The Sparkle Power SPI220LE is the lowest capacity 80 Plus approved power supply we've tested thus far. Our sample meets the 80 Plus requirements, and it is 80% efficient even down to very low 40W load, which is better than almost all other PSUs.

ZDNet: September 2007 (SPI220LE)

Finding an 80 Plus power supply for a do-it-yourself PC at a reasonable price has been challenging and too many 80 Plus power supplies are oversized and overpriced.

The solution is to find a small and inexpensive power supply in the 200 watt range and Sparkle Power Inc. may have produced the right solution with their SPI220LE power supply.

3dGameMan: September 2007 (ACTION700)

Sparkle’s history as a quality OEM manufacturer has really helped them put out an excellent first gamer power supply. The Action 700 power supply has all the right ideas in place; meshed cabling, easy use Molex connectors, plenty of SATA connections, dual CPU support, dual PCIE support and a small form factor.
